$45,000 - $60,000

About this Position

The Assignments Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the administration of student housing assignments at Oklahoma State University. This position is responsible for managing the housing assignment process, maintaining occupancy records, and providing exceptional customer service to students and their families. The coordinator ensures that housing operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a positive residential experience for all students.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Five years of professional experience in student services, event coordination, customer service, or enrollment operations. Post-secondary education may substitute for required experience.

    Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with relational databases or housing management systems.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
    • Outstanding communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with a student-centered approach.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    One year of professional experience in student services, event coordination, customer service, or enrollment operations. Post-secondary education may substitute for required experience.

    Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Experience working in Higher Education

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Experience with StarRez or similar housing management software.
    • Familiarity with university housing policies and operational cycles.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
