About this Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN (as-needed) X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for professionals seeking supplemental income or a varied work environment.

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Vocational/Technical
    • Radiologic Technology (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
    • Current CPR/BLS certification.
    • Valid Oklahoma radiologic technologist license.
  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic procedures.
    • Ensure accurate patient positioning and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
    • Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
    • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic support.
    • Provide compassionate care and clear communication to a diverse university population.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
