About this Position
Provide administrative support for the Department of Wellness (DOW) programs and services. Serve as liaison and resource person for DOW programs and services by professionally assisting patrons with questions via phone calls, emails or in person. Coordinates the flow of accounting, personnel and payroll documents. Responsible for processing new hire documents and all related forms for DOW student employees and full-time staff hires. Responsible for the purchase of departmental office supplies. Assist with processing of staff travel. Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, space and program reservations. Manage appointments and communications for DOW professional staff. This position may also be delegated other assignments as necessary to support the department.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Three years of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
- Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Notary within 60 days of hire.
- Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: This position requires a detail-oriented candidate who has a professional attitude, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, have the ability to work Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's
- Experience in OSU's mainframe systems including Banner, AIRS, and OK Corral. Knowledge of basic accounting practices. Previous cash handling experience.
- Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Completion of Ambassador Program.
