About this Position

Manage the recording of all financial transactions for Cowboy Athletics. Ensure proper treatment of those transactions according to GAAP. Prepare and review financial statements and supplemental schedules for multiple entities monthly. Prepare consolidated financial statements for Cowboy Athletics annually. Prepare work papers and required schedules for annual financial statement audit and tax return preparation. General office supervision including training, evaluation, hiring recommendations, and coordinating work of subordinates. Travel is required in performing the job. Work schedules other than 8 am to 5 pm. Special circumstances such as required meetings, and travel may be warranted.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Accounting (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • 5 years related experience.
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Position requires excellent personal communications skills for dealing with University community at all levels and with outside parties, computer skills and excellent analytical skills are essential for applications and analysis of various financial models.
