About this Position
The Veterinary Care Navigator serves as the primary point of contact for referring veterinarians, clients, and specialty services, ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient scheduling of referred patients into the hospital. Will triage cases and make determinations of referral placement for each patient.
The Veterinary Care Navigator is responsible for facilitating positive relationships with referring partners, supporting hospital services, and providing exceptional customer service to both veterinary professionals and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's
Veterinary Technology or medical field. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- 3 years working as a veterinary technician or medical professional.
- Prior experience in a veterinary hospital, referral practice, or medical scheduling/coordination.
- Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and specialty services.
- Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
- Must be self-motivated and well-organized
- Must be capable of independent judgement and decision making with minimal supervision
- Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must possess comprehensive veterinary technical skills
- Must possess ability to manage conflict
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have ability to work on diverse hospital and leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's
Veterinary Technology.

Five years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting.
- Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VCS).
