Work Schedule
Work schedule may extend beyond regular office hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, as needed, to complete assignments. International travel, weekend and evening activities will be required in order to meet the needs of prospective students, parents and counselors.

About this Position
Oklahoma State University, a modern land-grant university, is seeking an Associate Director of International Recruitment for Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment. Upholding the values and mission of the institution, the Associate Director of International Recruitment for Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment supports a dynamic leadership team for a staff of 80+ professional staff members and 80+ student staff. The Associate Director oversees the team responsible for undergraduate international recruitment and outreach efforts for the university. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment, this position will collaborate with leadership to implement long-term strategies to positively impact international enrollment goals. To be successful, the individual will initiate, build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external partners, including but not limited to: OSU's School of Global Studies and Partnerships, Office of International Students and Scholars, OSU's divisions of Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, Division of Access and Community Impact, the Oklahoma State Board of Regents, OSU Foundation, OSU Alumni Association, OSU-Tulsa, OSU Graduate College, OSU Academic Colleges, and colleges/universities in the A&M system, Big 12 Conference members and other peer institutions. Additional responsibilities include the following:
-Be enthusiastic and strategic, utilizing solid, contemporary research and knowledge of international admissions mission, programs, and governing statutes.
-Represent the department and the director at campus events and meetings.
-Partner closely with Undergraduate Admissions communications and data teams on digital ad campaigns, communication strategies, name purchases/lead generations.
-Plan, delegate, motivate and coordinate the following international recruitment team functions: off-site and on-site recruitment and travel; campus representation at college fairs, high school visits, events; onboarding and continual training of staff on consistent and effective messaging and best practices.
-Budget planning for international recruitment activities, events and staff salaries.
-Collaborate with director and other associate directors to implement long-term information management and technology strategies to positively impact international enrollment goals, work environment and resources strategies for employee professional development, efficient and proactive work habits, and commitment to teamwork.
Position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work schedule; however, any offer is contingent upon approval by University Human Resources in consideration of OSU policies, labor laws, and suitability to the work of the position/department. If remote work is approved, employee may not have an office on campus.
Required Qualifications
- Master's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Minimum five years' experience in higher education setting with international responsibilities. Leadership in building collaborative, outcome-focused teams to communicate goals and implement initiatives. A team-oriented attitude with attention to detail and superior organizational skills. Demonstrated commitment to a mission driven organization that includes creative visioning and commitment to service. Implementation and management experience maximizing short- and long-term organizational goals and objectives. Demonstrated success in upholding international, national, state and institutional standards, best practices, policies and procedures. Working knowledge and experience with immigration policies, financial guarantee processes and international academic credentials. Success in building and sustaining client or constituent relationships resulting in measurable, positive outcomes. Demonstrated strong presentation, writing, problem solving, and public relations skills. Minimum five years post baccalaureate experience to include both broad supervisory responsibilities and process management.

Must have valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of five years' experience in admissions or enrollment management leadership role as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience in the supervision and development of professional full-time staff. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement international admission and recruitment strategies, policies and procedures for short-term and long-term organizational objectives and goals. Admissions Counselor experience with international recruitment territory responsibilities. Working with campus constituents to implement enrollment initiatives including communicating goals and building collaborative, goal-focused relationships. Strategic planning to maximize international recruitment efforts and admissions practices including staffing strategies, front-line service, and admission evaluation. Communication funnel management, CRM and SIS database experience.
