About this Position
The program is currently seeking a full-time employee to fill a success coach position. Those interested in applying to be a success coach must have experience working with diverse communities and enjoy working with middle school students. This position requires a flexible work schedule throughout the week for morning, afternoon, and sometimes evening and weekend events. Prospects should have experience working with students (e.g., camp counselor, mentor or tutor, youth minister). Responsibilities include, recruit students into the program, lead group workshops with parents and youth, meet with students weekly to bi-weekly, monitor and motivate student progress using data from school, keep detailed records of student progress, generate reports, assist with data collection, engage with parents and community partners, and work closely with the Program Coordinator and other success coaches to organize and attend monthly and sometimes weekly events and meetings to ensure the success of the program.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Three years of related work experience to include working with youth, and/or working in a home-based education service. Experience working with the Hispanic Community.
- Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Solid organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong work ethic. Ability to creatively solve problems. Able to maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc. Intermediate MS office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Science or related field

Two years of experience working with youth. Experience with Event planning and Fundraising. Survey data collection. Marketing & other creative talents.

Necessary leadership skills to accomplish weekly success coaching inside public schools
Ability to function as a member of a team
Bilingual (Spanish/English) both verbal and written
