About this Position
Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. May occasionally be requested to float to other Family Medicine clinics to assist in covering patient load.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical
- Certified Medical Assistant
- (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Certified Medical Assistant
- At least six (6) months previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
- Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK.
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Driver's License

- Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures -Medication administration
- Triage experience
- Direct patient care

- Referral/authorization experience required
