Hiring Range

$45,000 - $57,000/contingent on available funding

About this Position

Oklahoma State University seeks applicants for the Educator Placement Coordinator position in the Office of Educator Support of the College of Education and Human Sciences. The successful candidate supports continuous improvement, student learning outcomes, and performance enhancement of the Office of Educator Support and the traditional and online Elementary Education programs.

This position coordinates Elementary Education field experience and internship placements, school partnerships and MOUs, candidate records and progress, evaluation and professional development activities, and program policies. Supports candidate screening, interventions, international placements, and compliance with current education and accreditation requirements. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Education or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • One year of related experience. Knowledge of the role and processes of field experiences and clinical practice partnerships in teacher preparation programs, experience working in an educational setting.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: 

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; have ability to work with data bases and assessment information; have excellent organizational skills, exhibit excellent judgement, treat others with respect as equal and valuable members of an academic community; experience preparing agendas, taking minutes, and administering, proctoring, and maintaining student records; ability to work collaboratively with members of a team; skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities; strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Education or related
  • Three years of experience in U.S. public schools and or in teacher education.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

Certified educator through a university educator prep program preferred.
