About this Position

Are you passionate about global education, student engagement, and international program development? The Center for Advanced Global Leadership and Engagement (CAGLE) is seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator to lead the planning, promotion, organization, and evaluation of faculty-led study abroad programs.

In this role, you will coordinate international travel experiences by managing program logistics, budgets, academic activities, and cultural engagements while ensuring compliance with university travel policies. You will collaborate with students, faculty, staff, service providers, and industry partners to deliver impactful global learning opportunities. The position also plays a key role in developing promotional materials, organizing international events, and supporting outreach efforts that enhance student participation and engagement.

This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. The employee must be skilled in event planning, project coordination, budgeting, marketing, and relationship management. This is an exciting opportunity to help students expand their global perspectives while contributing to the success of innovative international education programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • One year of related experience.

    Some days extend beyond 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to length of program and schedule of when it occurs. Saturdays and Sundays may be required to attend conferences or while on domestic or international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's

    Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or other related field.

    • Previous experience working across cultures and time zones.
    • Experience managing program budgets and logistics.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work with a team and lead projects to success.
    • Ability and willingness to speak in front of groups.
    • Ability to handle disruptions while producing accurate information.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Outlook, and OSU specific programs (Banner, AIRS, Terra Dotta).
    • Flexibility in regard to working with others.
    • Initiative to develop and complete projects and be able to work with others internally (department/college) and external customers in business, industry, and government.
