About this Position

The International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) Administration Office, an extension unit of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is seeking applications for an Outreach Program Coordinator. IFSAC is a peer-driven accreditation system for fire service certifying entities and fire-related postsecondary degree programs. IFSAC has a growing membership base that includes more than 80 fire service certifying entities and more than 40 fire-related collegiate institutional programs, located throughout the United States, Canada, and other countries in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. More than three million IFSAC seals for certification have been issued to fire service personnel worldwide.

The position requires sound judgment, effective coordination across internal and external stakeholders, and specialized knowledge of IFSAC operations, governance, policies, and procedures. When delegated, the employee may act on behalf of the IFSAC Manager within established authority. Specific assignments within these functional areas may be adjusted by the Manager based on organizational priorities, staff capacity, and operational needs.
