OAR Office Asst (Fall) in Norman
The OAR Office Assistant serves as an assistant for the Office of Admissions and Recruitment (OAR) in Admissions Operations. This position will handle a high volume of telephone calls, answer general questions through our online chat system, provide high quality customer service, and perform other clerical duties as assigned. These other clerical duties may include preparing & sending out mail for early outreach efforts, preparing admission boxes, assigning emails, data input, redacting test scores, uploading documents to student files, filling in at the welcome desk for walk-in guests as needed, and other duties as assigned. The laboratory of Dr. Paterno is seeking a Staff Research Assistant to join our dynamic neuroscience research team within the Department of Neurosurgery. The Paterno Lab investigates the neural circuits underlying learning, memory, and other behaviors, with a particular focus on hippocampal function. The successful candidate will employ behavioral techniques in rodent models to study cognitive processes relevant to neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders. In addition, the candidate will perform a variety of fundamental neuroscience procedures and laboratory techniques essential to neurobiology research.
