Working under direct supervision, you will assist with installing and inspecting streetlights, troubleshooting circuits, repairing wiring, and assembling conduit, fittings, and junction boxes. The position also supports streetlight pole setting, circuit testing, and routine maintenance tasks. You’ll use a variety of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and electrical equipment while participating in ongoing training to strengthen your technical skills. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Certification, along with 24 months of electrical experience. Preference is given to applicants with at least six months of streetlight‑specific work. A valid Oklahoma Driver’s License (or ability to obtain one within 30 days) and a current Oklahoma electrical journeyman’s license are required.
