      Lead Electronics Technician in Norman

      The Gallogly College of Engineering has seen rapid growth in undergraduate and graduate enrollment. Many engineering programs across the schools have teaching laboratories that use electronics to collect and control experiments. The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in particular, has laboratory courses focused on circuits, sensors, and other topics. Under the direction of the Dean, the Electronics Lab Coordinator will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled activities related to electronic devices and experiments across schools in engineering. The person will place orders for, prepare, and maintain laboratory materials, supplies, and associated equipment. The new Electronics Lab Coordinator will be assigned duties requiring considerable technical knowledge and ability in electronics. The Electronics Lab Coordinator is expected to exercise independent judgment in the performance of duties and is responsible for supervising and maintaining laboratory supplies, materials, equipment, and records.
