Adelaide University is seeking a Manager, Advancement Data and Systems to lead the data, business intelligence and technology functions that support our alumni engagement and fundraising ambitions.
This is an opportunity to lead a skilled team, influence strategic decision-making and shape how Advancement data and systems are used across a newly established university. You will oversee critical platforms, operational reporting and data services while driving continuous improvement, strengthening data integrity and enabling exceptional stakeholder experiences.

As the Manager, Advancement Data and Systems, you will lead the delivery of trusted data, actionable business intelligence and effective technology solutions that support alumni relations, fundraising and broader Advancement priorities. Your work will help ensure our teams have the trusted information, effective systems and practical insights they need to build lasting relationships with alumni, donors and supporters.

The team
The Advancement Operations team provides the data, systems, research, gift administration and operational capabilities that underpin Adelaide University’s alumni engagement and fundraising activities.
Working in a collaborative and evolving environment, the team partners with colleagues across Philanthropy, Alumni Relations, Communications, Finance, Information and Technology, Performance Data and Insights and other areas of the University. Together, we are building scalable services and systems that enable informed decision-making, meaningful engagement and sustainable philanthropic growth.
This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape a contemporary Advancement function, influence future ways of working and contribute to the continued development of our data and technology ecosystem.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Experience leading a team in advancement data, systems, or related fields
- Proven ability to coordinate business intelligence, data management, and systems
- optimisation
- Experience engaging with senior executives in strategy development and
- implementation
- Demonstrated expertise in advancement data services, CRMs, marketing
- automation systems, or equivalent systems
- Proven ability to manage technology projects and drive continuous improvement
- in procedures, processes, and systems
- Experience in data analytics, reporting, and providing actionable recommendations
