The team
These roles sit within the Quality and Compliance and the Pay Accuracy and Entitlements functions aligned to the People and Culture Portfolio.
Working closely with People Services and Careers, Legal, Risk, data and analytics teams, senior leaders, and external regulatory bodies, the team provides trusted advice on complex compliance matters, support audit activities, monitor legislative changes, and helps embed consistent, compliant practices across the University.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Proven ability to identify and assess compliance risks, provide practical advice, and contribute to the implementation of appropriate controls
- Proven experience using Microsoft Excel to build and maintain audit reports, including data validation, reconciliation and analysis to support accurate compliance and operational reporting.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply problem-solving in People and Culture policy and compliance contexts
- Experience influencing change to ensure compliance and good governance of People and Culture policy and practices
- Proven ability to work effectively with people at all levels in a large organisation utilising strong communication skills
- Proven ability to meet predetermined timelines and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in and/or understanding of process improvement methodology and operational auditing
