Care in Action
With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.
Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.
Right now, we’re seeking a Product Owner who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.
About the role
The Product Owner plays a key role in advancing the TAC’s strategic and operational goals by enhancing claims platforms for employees, clients, and providers. Operating within an Agile framework and a Continuous Delivery model, the Product Owner maximises the value of digital improvements by prioritising and managing work pipelines across internal teams, external vendors, and strategic partners.
This role is focused on delivering value early and often, leveraging a collaborative approach that actively incorporates feedback and adapts to evolving business needs. By breaking down larger initiatives into manageable work items, the Product Owner ensures solutions are fit for purpose, user-focused, and aligned with organisational priorities.
About the Team
You will join the supportive and passionate Digital and Systems team within the Clients division, a group dedicated to delivering efficient, fair, and cost-effective recovery and independence outcomes for people injured in transport accidents.
Reporting to the Digital and Systems Manager, you’ll benefit from regular 1:1s and team check-ins, while being empowered to take ownership of your workload. The team values autonomy, collaboration, and variety, offering a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
What we’re looking for
Engaging and Organised Stakeholder Partner
You’re a confident communicator who can influence, negotiate, and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation. With a positive, can-do attitude, you know how to engage and support people through change in complex operational, governance-driven environments. Your exceptional planning skills and ability to prioritise in fast-paced settings ensure delivery stays on track.
Agile Delivery Expertise
You hold a qualification or certification in Agile delivery and bring hands-on experience working in Agile environments. You bring a strong, practical understanding of Agile principles and practices, enabling collaborative, iterative delivery that drives tangible results.
Digital Transformation Experience
You bring demonstrated experience in digital delivery and business transformation and understand how to connect people, processes, and technology to achieve success. Experience with, or a strong understanding of, claims systems and processes will be highly regarded.
Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Product Owner, you’ll also:
Make a positive difference
Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.
Be rewarded for great work
We value our people, offering a corporate incentive, salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.
Grow and go places
We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
