About the role:
We’re looking for an organised and proactive team player to support the smooth running of our Corporate Communications function. This is a hands-on role that offers variety, visibility, and the chance to make a real impact across channels, events, content workflows, and team operations. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy and thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a part-time position (four-day fortnight) based at Suncorp’s state-of-the-art Heritage Lanes headquarters in Brisbane. Flexibility with working days may be required during peak periods or major events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting team planning and operations by managing shared mailboxes, updating Confluence spaces, and maintaining our team milestone calendar.
- Managing and maintaining communication distribution lists to ensure our messages reach the right people.
- Overseeing and maintaining our Corporate Communications SharePoint site for easy access to key content and team information.
- Managing digital asset libraries, including sourcing campaign imagery and coordinating photography and video requests.
- Processing purchase orders and manual payments for the team.
- Organising travel, venue bookings and building access for events, media conferences, and campaign activations.
- Providing hands-on event support for internal and external initiatives.
Who you’ll work with:
You’ll be the central point of contact across the Corporate Communications team, working closely with:
- Internal stakeholders across Suncorp Group (including Real Estate, People & Culture, and Executive Assistants)
- External suppliers and vendors (e.g. videographers, event venues, caterers)
What you’ll bring:
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines with ease.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (including SharePoint and Teams).
- Experience with tools like Confluence, Microsoft Forms, and EDM platforms.
- Ability to produce engaging, brand-compliant presentations using PowerPoint.
- A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused mindset.
