You'll be the go-to expert for ensuring the data model complies with regulatory standards and industry best practices, as well as ensuring adoption and usage across the organisation, making a significant impact on the organization's data strategy.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear, unified insurance friendly data vocabulary that supports current and future business needs
• Lead the creation of a high-level conceptual enterprise level data model (EDM) that defines core business concepts, supports integration across systems, and ensures clarity, consistency, and adaptability
• Apply data governance principles and establish clear stewardship roles for model maintenance and evolution
• Work with cross-functional teams to align business requirements with data models through workshops and active engagement
• Ensure models meet regulatory, privacy, and data security standards, and adapt to changing compliance requirements
• Deliver training and ongoing support to ensure widespread understanding and use of the EDM
• Use tools like Erwin to design, manage, and maintain data models efficiently

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; certifications like CDMP, TOGAF, or similar are highly valued
• 7+ years in data modeling, ideally in insurance or financial services, with expertise in enterprise data ecosystems and platforms like Guidewire or Duck Creek
• Strong understanding of insurance data (customer, claims, policy, reinsurance), governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management
• Hands-on experience with data governance and data quality tools
• Experience on implementing an enterprise data model and embedding it into transformation projects
• 5+ years of experience managing stakeholders in data solution design, with proven ability to engage across all organizational levels
