Overview of the role

This is a great opportunity for a current Suncorp procurement employee to gain exposure to a wide range of stakeholders from off-shore partners, category management teams, to senior procurement leaders giving you invaluable skills as you move up the career ladder.

This role oversees end to end BAU procurement operations including Purchase Order management, supplier creation to maintenance and related queries management supporting external suppliers, business and procurement category managers.

You will work closely with the Procurement Helpdesk to early detect a potential issue and support stakeholders leveraging our offshore partner located in India. The PO volume supported by this position is circa 1,500+ per month.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor operational oversight of partner delivery of core procurement operations processes (i.e. Contract Administration, Category Support & Operational reporting).
• Monitor & improve partner performance through Governance and reporting frameworks; and drive partner focus on continuous improvement, process ownership and performance against SLA’s
• Manage non-standard process questions and customer escalations
• Design and maintain clear Procurement Operations documentation and controls including policies, procedures, process workflow documentation, templates, tracking and communications
• Maintain risk and compliance oversight to delivery of procurement policy and operations
• Partner with Procurement Category Management & Procurement Performance & Frameworks team to improve and deliver performance against Procurement Strategy.
• Oversee Partner on-boarding
