 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Claims Manager, you’ll take ownership of a home claims portfolio and guide customers from first contact to final resolution. You'll:

  • Be the trusted voice and main point of contact for customers following loss or damage
  • Provide case management for new and existing property claims
  • Liaise with assessors and vendors to keep costs on track and claims moving
  • Explain policy entitlements and demystify the claims and repair process
  • Deliver empathetic, transparent, and proactive communication throughout the claim
  • Achieve key performance and service metrics aligned with business goals

 What You’ll Bring

  • Genuine compassion and a calm, customer-first approach
  • Excellent communication skills – with the ability to simplify complex issues and build rapport
  • Proficiency in digital systems and written communication
  • Great time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Prior experience in claims or insurance is great – but not essential if you’re the right fit

  • A quiet, professional space with an ergonomic setup
  • A reliable internet connection, landline or VoIP phone line, dual monitors, and mouse
  • Suncorp will provide you with a laptop on your first day
