We're looking for a strategic Business Architect to help shape the future of Insurance by aligning business goals with innovative technology and process design. In this role, you’ll drive enterprise transformation by designing future-state operating models, capabilities, and value streams that enable agility, efficiency, and long-term growth.

Partnering with business leaders, IT, and architecture teams, you'll play a key role in bridging strategy and execution - leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI and automation to build a smarter, more resilient enterprise that delivers outstanding customer experiences.

What you’ll do

  • Translate business strategy into target architectures and actionable roadmaps
  • Define and model capabilities, value streams, processes, and information flows across Insurance
  • Maintain current and future-state business architectures and maturity assessments
  • Support transformation initiatives (e.g. digital, core system upgrades, new products) ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Contribute to architecture governance and promote alignment with enterprise frameworks
  • Design future-state processes and lead optimisation initiatives to improve performance and consistency
  • Evaluate technology initiatives and business cases for strategic fit and ROI
  • Ensure solutions align with architecture principles and deliver business value
  • Collaborate with communities of practice (e.g. business analysts, data science) to embed business architecture across the enterprise

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
  • Business Architecture or related certifications (e.g. CBA®, TOGAF®, BIZBOK®, ACORD)
  • 7+ years in business or enterprise architecture, or strategic business analysis
  • Strong knowledge of insurance domains
  • Experience in capability-based planning and enterprise transformation
  • Familiarity with Lean, Agile, and Design Thinking approaches
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or project/consulting qualifications (desirable)
