Join us as a Customer Insights Advisor and play a key role in delivering high-quality complaints reporting and analysis to support Suncorp’s customer, community, and shareholder obligations. You'll develop and maintain key reports, perform deep-dive analytics, and provide actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to work across all areas of data and analytics, including advanced analytics and special projects.

This is a 12 month contract opportunity and we’re open to candidates from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, maintain, and manage operational reports, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
  • Analyse customer issues by extracting, transforming, and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights and recommend improvements
  • Integrate new data assets into existing models and update reports accordingly
  • Support broader team activities including management reporting, advanced analytics, and special projects

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualification in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in a data analytics role
  • Proficient in SQL and Python (or similar tools like R, SAS, SPSS)
  • Skilled in analysing customer data and deriving insights
  • Experienced in handling data from multiple sources (databases, Excel, text files)
  • Strong data visualisation skills
  • Advanced Excel; proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Access
  • Knowledge of project management practices (desired)
  • Experience in complaints, risk, or data governance (desired)
