Join our Compliance Risk & Oversight team as an Enterprise Compliance Manager. In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape and strengthen enterprise-wide compliance risk practices, with a focus on improving incident and breach management in line with our compliance risk appetite and strategy. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to deliver integrated, fit-for-purpose systems and processes that align with Suncorp’s broader risk framework. Be part of a collaborative team, driving meaningful impact in a dynamic and evolving risk environment.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to develop and improve compliance practices and systems (e.g. risk, control, incident and breach management, remediation, and reporting)
  • Review how compliance practices are monitored across Suncorp and work with 1st and 2nd line teams to drive consistency and improvement
  • Lead the preparation of compliance insights and reports for senior executives and Board committees
  • Coordinate with Compliance and CRO teams to plan and deliver key strategic compliance activities each quarter
  • Manage key governance documents such as the Compliance Management Framework, Breach Management Standard, and Customer Remediation Standard
  • Provide compliance advice and project support to CRO stakeholders
  • Support learning and training for compliance processes aligned with overall risk learning strategies

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Risk, Law, or Finance (preferred)
  • 8–10+ years' experience in business, regulatory compliance, or risk management within the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Strong experience in preparing reports and insights for senior leaders and Board-level audiences
  • Proven capability in monitoring compliance activities and engaging stakeholders on outcomes and performance
