Great opportunity for an existing Suncorp Senior BA to grow their career! We are looking for a strong Senior Business Analyst with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and advanced business analysis skills.

The role of Principle requires you to be able to manage multiple programs of work, whilst being able to be on the tools and as well as play a lead role in coordinating multiple streams of business analysis activities across the Digital Insurer Transformation Office. You will collaborate with the Product Factory, Architects, various stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit and define Ideation and Discovery business requirements, analyse solution viability, and document Project deliverables.

You will also cultivate and drive competency uplift within the Transformation office and chapter. You’ll share knowledge by providing coaching and guidance to the Business Analysis community and representing Suncorp at industry events.

What you’ll do:

• Apply advanced comprehension of Suncorp business context including strategy, key systems/processes, and critical issues/constraints. 
• Play a lead role in maintaining and evolving best practice principles for this discipline
• Use advanced information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesize information accurately, completely, and coherently.
• Play a lead role in working collaboratively with ideation and discovery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Create exceptional user stories to support future delivery.
• Effectively communicate key concepts to stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between transformation office and the Product factory teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of Ideation and Discovery requirements and expectations.
• Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable. 
• Actively participate and lead discussions in ideation and discovery rhythms including, but not limited to, stand ups, QPE, showcases and planning sessions.
• Coach all levels of Business Analysts as required and lead analysis planning and coordination of analysis work.
• Play a key role in Chapter-wide business analysis competency development by advocating for, leading, and actively participating in activities such as the BA Lounge, Lunch and Learns and Study Groups.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 8+ years’ Business analysis experience in a large-scale transformation orientated role; from a large organisation; exposure to Policy Administration systems
• Minimum 8+ years’ working in financial services (preferably insurance)
• 5+ years leadership experience with experience coaching / mentoring in the field of business analysis.
• Minimum 3 years’ Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
• Led delivery across all types of insurance
• Self-motivated Principle/Snr BA able to work autonomously 
• Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements
• Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders both internally and externally
• Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines
• Must be able to context switch and work in the grey
