Your role as Community Engagement Advisor will have a positive impact in your local community and in turn, the organisation, through aligning activities to the branch business plan and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities.   

 

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you’ll make your mark by:  

 

  • Co-ordinating and administrate community grants and sponsorship programs (including reporting and evaluation of these programs)
  • Promoting and communicating the community banking model to grant sponsorship applications for the community
  • Immersing yourself within the local community. You’ll have a mind for networking and collaborations and will work with the board and branch management team to seek out, nurture and organise community relationships, partnerships and events  
  • Telling our stories. Through various channels, you’ll help spread the word and celebrate the work we do within the community 

 

This is a permanent, part time supporting both the Carrum Downs & Marriott Waters branches, the roster being 18 – 24 hours per week with flexibility on hours/days for the right candidate. The ability to occasionally attend community events outside of normal business hours is also a requirement of the role”.

 

 

What you’ll bring to the role 

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a proud brand ambassador. We’d love you to have: 

 

  • An understanding and established connection with the local community 
  • Strong customer service and customer experience ethos 
  • Ability to drive and maintain effective working relationships and networks 
  • Effective communication skills to share our Community Bank story 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • You will be responsible for creating and posting content and driving engagement through various social media platforms 
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised 
  • Project or event management experience (desirable, but not essential) 
  • Confidence with technology and experience in digital platforms and creative/editing tools
