Within Group Marketing our Brand, Marketing, and Communications (BMC) team focus on amplifying Bendigo Bank’s story to our customers and communities. Partnering with the business to strategically deliver customer and revenue growth through best-in-class marketing with a customer focus.

 

We currently have a 12-month secondment opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the BMC team. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll work collaboratively with the team to develop and execute B2C marketing strategies.

 

You’ll bring your end-to-end experience across all channels, both above and below the line, to deliver targeted campaigns for specific customer audiences. You’ll have demonstrated experience in post campaign analytics, being able to report on the ROI and success of campaigns, and confidently present this information to stakeholders. Ideally you will have worked in banking, financial services, or insurance previously, or you could have an eCommerce product marketing background.

 

This role will be involved in some large impactful projects where you’ll have ownership to work on customer value propositions for exciting products that will make banking faster and easier for our customers. You’ll be part of an engaged, creative, supportive team of marketing experts that are incredibly passionate about what they do.

 

This role can be based in either Melbourne, Adelaide, or Bendigo. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 40% of your time per week in the office, increasing to 60% as of July 2025.

 

What you'll bring to the role

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing preferred
  • Previous experience as a Marketing Manager in a similar position, ideally from Banking, Financial Services or Insurance
  • Demonstrated capabilities in developing B2C marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns
  • Proven experience in metric-driven marketing with an eye for creativity
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to understand core business and marketing metrics
  • Demonstrated capabilities in stakeholder management and relationship building skills
