Position Description: Product Performance Analyst PD.pdf
Are you passionate about turning complex data into compelling stories?
Join our Product Performance team as a Power BI Analyst (internally known as Product Performance Analyst) and take ownership of a large, multi-report suite focused on product and pricing performance and strategies.
You’ll report to the Manager Product Performance with responsibilities relating to designing, building, and maintaining interactive Power BI Service reports and dashboards that track key metrics across finance, risk, and customer areas.
You’ll take end-to-end ownership of our Power BI reporting lifecycle: you’ll design, build and maintain interactive reports and dashboards as well as take ownership of established reports – enhancing and refining the reporting suite and strengthening underlying semantic models and ETL pipelines. Partnering closely with stakeholders, you will translate stakeholder requirements and complex business logic into clear data stories – running discovery workshops, prototyping visuals and iterating feedback. Finally, you’ll embed a culture of self-service by updating documentation, leading targeted training sessions and championing best practices so users can explore and act on insights independently.
This is a Full time 12-month fixed term contract (or potential secondment for internal employees) based out of any of our Head/Regional offices.
We prioritise our people with a hybrid model that currently includes a minimum of 40% per week in office, increasing to 60% as of July 2025.
To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:
- Power BI Practitioner: 3+ years hands-on experience with Power BI and PBI Service.
- Project delivery: Led large, cross-functional BI projects, taking dashboards from prototype to production. Demonstrated experience applying complex business logic into data models and reporting.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced DAX and Power Query skills, with proven data modelling skills, including developing star schemas and semantic models. Strong SQL skills (MS SQL, Oracle) for writing optimised ETL queries.
- Data Storyteller: Proven ability to design and deliver dashboards that tell a compelling data story and guide decision-makers through insights.
- Collaborator & Communicator: Excellent communicator with experience running requirements workshops and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Governance Mindset: Familiar with version control, naming standards, and documentation best practices.
We’re making better, bigger. And we’ll get there with you.
Could you be our newest BI expert? Now’s the time to set your sights even higher – on the future you and the future career you deserve.
