The Business Customer Delivery team is responsible for providing excellent customer service through quality conversations, understanding customer needs and pro-actively delivering outcomes for Business Banking customers.

The Head of Business Customer Delivery reports to the GM Sales Support, with a dotted line to GM Business Banking and maintains close working relationships with the National Manager, Regional Managers, Technology & Transformation teams and leaders across the enterprise.

The role is an active and strategic leadership position that will directly influence and shape the alignment of the operational business model, deliver simplification and ongoing process product and policy refinement, uplift team performance and productivity, with the targeted aim of creating efficient customer journeys and industry leading Business Banking customer experience.

 

As the Head of, you will: 

  • Ensure all Sales Support teams that support the customer experience are aligned to the CVP of the Business Banking customer segment.
  • Build a scalable operating model that is supported by the appropriate policies and procedure.
  • Develop metrics and a reporting framework that enables insight into areas of improvement across the value chain.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement approaches across Sales Support to ensure customer acquisition and retention strategies are met.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders in making clear and effective decisions that place our colleagues, communities and customers at the centre of the process.
  • Lead a high performing team through coaching and mentoring, to build and grow business development and operational capability.

 

What you’ll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven operational and strategic leadership capabilities gained within the banking industry.
  • A deep understanding of the drivers influencing the CVP of both Agribusiness and Business Banking.
  • Ability to influence the performance output of teams to support customer goals and business objectives.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven self-starter who can bring about initiatives and changes, someone solution driven with creative and lateral thinking approach.
  • Experience in Active Ops/Workware planning and understanding of methodologies would be a asset.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Finance would be desirable.
