About the opportunity 

This newly created role would be ideal for someone with a branch background that has a keen interest in technology and would love to work on our BuildingBEN initiatives.

You will play a key contributor in assisting with the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of our IT asset management processes.  You will have the ability to manage and facilitate meetings within the team, key stakeholders and vendors.  At times you will run small team projects from start to finish.

As an Asset Services Specialist you’ll get to…

• Carry out day to day asset management activities to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Liaise with staff to establish their asset requirements.
• Perform new device requests, device allocation requests, laptop and branch IT refreshes.
• Managing and maintaining, service desk queues.
• Proactively engage with business units, vendors and teams across IT, Retail and the wider business.
• Work the properties team to organise IT equipment during office and team relocations. 

What you’ll bring to the role 

You will have strong evaluation, problem-solving and project planning skills. 

To be successful in the role you will have: 

• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work towards and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with common procurement/sourcing processes.
• Ability to undertake responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret Hardware Asset management requests and prioritise workload.
• Strong experience within Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio.
• Experience with reporting, including financials with the ability to track budget forecasts and actuals.
