About the opportunity
Be part of a team that has responsibility for ensuring that all IT systems and services used within our Production and DR environments are managed in accordance with Service Management processes. Part of the IM role is to work with other technology teams, business stakeholders and vendors to ensure that compliance and regulatory requirements are met and that we provide reliable and robust solutions for our customers and staff.
In this role you’ll get to…
- Ensure that incidents are addressed, root cause of incidents are identified, and permanent corrective action is applied if possible.
- Co-ordinate the resolution of all high priority incidents classified as priority 1 or priority 2 as per the documented process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders from both a technology and business perspective to deliver solutions to incidents.
- Work with technology group subject matter experts to research and develop strategies for resolving incidents within agreed scope and timeframes.
- Fostering a team environment and working effectively and cooperatively with others to deliver on organisational objectives.
- Provide continued improvement of the Incident and Problem Management processes in the capacity of Process Owner.
What you’ll bring to the role
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Highly developed facilitation, communication and problem resolution skills.
- Proven ability to enforce quality and standards.
- Advanced knowledge of Incident management process.
- Knowledge of Problem Management, Service Request and Change Management processes.
- Understanding of IT architecture, both infrastructure & applications.
- Knowledge of Service Level agreements / commitments.
