Our People Processing Centre (PPC) is the bank’s operational hub within People and Culture that facilitate transactional processing of people-related lifecycle activities including offers, onboarding, staff movements, cross-boarding, off-boarding, and project implementation.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a secondment for a People Administrator to join the PPC team reporting into the Team Leader through until the end of March 2026. A fantastic entry point into an HR role, you’ll be trained up to assist with actioning leader’s requests, with a particular focus in onboarding employees by producing contracts and associated work. You’ll ensure that all requests are actioned consistently, with a high level of accuracy and within agreed service response times.
With a keen interest in HR and all things people related you’ll be able to develop your knowledge and skills in this area to grow your career. Ideally you’ll have some administrative experience with great attention to detail and an eye for accuracy, and skills in problem solving, as well as be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

This role can be based in any one of our office locations in Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo, Sydney, Brisbane, Ipswich, or Adelaide. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 60% of your time per week in the office.
What you'll bring to the role:
- A diploma in Administration / Human Resources or related discipline preferred but not essential
- A high-level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience performing operational administration tasks
- The ability to follow instructions and procedural guidelines
- An inquisitive mind and sound problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to set work priorities to meet deadlines/SLAs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fantastic customer service skills and a passion for your own performance and individual brand
- Intermediate competency across the Microsoft office suite
