Supporting our frontline Senior Business Relationship Managers, your role as our Senior Relationship Associate is built on your expertise in engaging and communicating with customers and take genuine care in supporting their needs.
You effectively build relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders alike, acting as a critical conduit between the front line and support teams. You have high attention to detail and the ability to be flexible, remain organised and prioritise in a busy role.

You’ll make your mark by:
- Support our national Business Relationship Manager team and their customer portfolio, giving you exposure to our large and more complex customers including Broker.
- Deepen existing customer relationships through understanding our customers’ needs and providing relevant solutions across all commercial banking product suites.
- Onboard new customers, obtain all necessary information and documentation, complete the application form and look after all ongoing portfolio maintenance.
- Build strong relationships with our customers via phone and email, as well as having the opportunity to join in on customer visits - in line with our customer value proposition to make business personal.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Knowledge or qualifications in business, commerce, finance or a related discipline
- Ideally experienced in or solid knowledge of business/commercial lending and credit risk principles
- Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
- Up-to-date knowledge of economic conditions and market influences, including business banking products would be beneficial
- The ability to proactively support your dedicated Bankers in thinking outside the square to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions
