Join the fast-paced Direct Business Banking team and be a key part of our Business Banking growth strategy. We are a team of small business specialists dedicated to helping micro-business customers to grow their businesses.

As a Business Direct Manager, you are responsible for the retention and growth of our Direct Business portfolio of customers: predominantly managing business customers with lending needs below $1M. Financial analysis is a key part of your role. You will explore leads for new business opportunities and maintain exemplary customer service delivery for the existing portfolio of customers.

In this role you will get to do:

• Build strong customer relationships, focused on understanding the customer, both their current and future needs.
• Analyse and interpret financial statements and ideally also experience in credit analysis and small business lending.
• Work to grow the customer portfolio within Business Direct and meet ongoing financial targets.
• Undertake effective business development, networking, and prospecting activities to build a strong pipeline.

What you’ll bring to the role

 To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Business lending experience, financial and risk analysis and assessment of cashflow would be ideal
• Demonstrated ability in sales or and the delivery of exceptional customer experience
• Sound knowledge of the Business Credit Card Policy and Equipment Finance process is critical to ensure continued growth preferred
• Willingness to learn and apply new knowledge and skills
