As an Operations Support Officer in the International & Retail Settlements team at BEN, you’ll play a key role in delivering fast, accurate, and customer centric support across global payment services.  

You’ll process international transfers, support AUSTRAC reporting, and liaise with teams across the business to provide seamless service. Your attention to detail, proactive mindset, and collaborative spirit will help drive operational excellence and improve customer outcomes.  

With a focus on efficiency, compliance, and continual improvement, you’ll be empowered to take initiative and make meaningful impact. 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Accurately process international payments, telegraphic transfers, and AUSTRAC reporting, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. 

  • Provide frontline support and expert advice to internal teams, including Retail, Business Banking, and Financial Markets. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes, drive efficiency, and continuously improve customer service outcomes. 

 

To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have: 

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise. 

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment or autonomously. 

  • Able to take initiative and apply good judgement. 

  • Ability to take responsibility and follow through on tasks that may need resolution over an extended timeframe. 

  • Proficient knowledge and use of Excel and other Microsoft applications. 

  • Sound knowledge of systems - LINX, RFS, SWIFT, Intrafin, Quantum is preferred but not essential. 

  • Experience in a customer service / processing centre practices is highly desirable. 

  • Financial transaction experience preferred. 

  • Experience in SWIFT and Telegraphic Transfer processes is preferred but not essential 

 

We have two opportunities, one Full-time and one Part-time (Three days a week) available. Both are Permanant opportunities.  

We offer flexible work options with a hybrid model of minimum 60% on site attendance, in a local Head Office (see locations here)
