About the opportunity 

As a member of Treasury & Balance Sheet Service within the Group Support Practice, you will work alongside other Service and Charter members with various stakeholders both in business and within the Group Support Practice in supporting initiatives, collecting and interpreting business needs to understand and define the technical requirements to meet our regulatory, risk and compliance obligations.

In this role you’ll get to…

  • Support the initiatives by liaising with a range of stakeholders to get high level scope and objectives to define technical requirements.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of the technical requirements and support the solution design of outcomes to meet the needs, including documenting specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, re-use of existing capabilities and removal of inefficient data delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce tech debt.
  • Enable the initiatives to meet schedule, business and budget objectives.
  • Work through the assigned tasks, to ensure efficient completion and achieve successful outcomes for the business. 

What you’ll bring to the role

You will have extensive experience in a Senior Technical Business Analyst role in financial risk management and payment preferably within Banking or Financial Services.

To be successful in the role you will have: 

  • Payments industry experience with SWIFT is essential.
  • Strong understanding and experience on ISO20022 are essential.
  • A Risk management background with Treasury Risk experience is preferred.
  • Experience on using data analytic techniques, including SQL, to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Experience on FIS platforms including Quantum and Balance Sheet Management (formerly Ambit Focus) platforms are an advantage
