In Retail Banking our customers are at the forefront of everything do, and with the recent launch of our Virtual Banking team, we have created dedicated banking teams which have transformed the way we engage with customers through digital and phone across both Retail and Third-Party Banking. It is responsible for ensuring compliance, ongoing health and proactive growth of customers.
The Virtual Home Lending team deliver high volume, needs-based lending solutions. This team is pivotal in ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Virtual Banking and leading Retail Banking’s Virtual Home Lending team; digital at its core, this is the fastest growing of our Branches.
- You will drive needs-based sales and lending fulfilment for customers and across a range of channels including inbound and outbound phone, email, messaging, and future service technologies as they arise.
- You will enable sales strategy in a customer facing virtual team - with the goal of lending growth, meeting our customers financial service needs, expanding customer product holdings, and delivering exceptional service in each interaction.
- You will drive collaboration and putting the customer first across people, process, sales, credit, stakeholder management and compliance.
This is a Permanent, Full-time opportunity for total hours of 76 per fortnight. We prioritise our people with a hybrid model that currently includes 3 days per week in a local Head Office or Regional Office.
The Retail Virtual Banking opening hours are Monday – Friday, 0900 – 1830 (AEST) and Saturday, 0900 – 1700 (AEST). You will work standard hours Monday to Friday, total 38 hours per week.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:
- Experience leading teams delivering phone based or digital customers with frontline customers
- Experience leading teams in a Virtual and/or Retail Branch setting
- Proven sales skills in the finance industry (or relevant)
- Understanding and ability to foster a culture of high performance
- Ability to attract, coach, develop and retain talented individuals, creating a sales culture that enables your team to realise their highest potential
- Have a strong understanding of the Retail Ways of Working framework and proven record of successfully implementing and utilising the Retail Operating Rhythm in your leadership strategies is advantageous
- Formal qualification in Business, Finance, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience
