Our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) division guides, protects and amplifies Bendigo Bank’s story to our people, customers, communities, and shareholders. To ensure smooth operations, effective communication and strong team engagement across the BCM leadership team we’ve created a new role for a Divisional Coordinator.

This is a permanent position that will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the leadership team. It could be either full time or part time 4 days per week. You’ll be able to showcase your excellent efficiency and top-notch organisational skills every day as you easily move between core tasks such as:

  • Organising meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Managing document control, information tracking, and action monitoring.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring staff feedback and engagement.
  • Maintaining the BMC SharePoint site
  • Assisting with divisional planning activities
  • Coordinating staff engagement activities

  • Acting as a key contact point for team members

You’ll be supporting a close-knit leadership team with diverse perspectives who are focused and work at pace, the environment is non-hierarchical and a safe space where everyone’s ideas and opinions are valued. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career, contribute to a large-scale organisation, and make a real difference. We’d love it if you have a background or keen interest in the marketing or communications space, however this is not essential.

This role can be based in Adelaide, Bendigo, Sydney or Melbourne. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 60% of your time per week in the office.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Proven experience in a similar coordination or administrative role, ideally within a marketing or communications environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
