The Office of Integrity drives the accountability strategy, and key areas of our conduct strategy across the Group. Providing design, management, reporting, analysis, advisory, communication and support services to the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group across four policy pillars, including Financial Accountability Regime (FAR), Whistleblower, Regulatory Licencing obligations and Consequence Management.

We have a new permanent role in this team for a Senior Advisor Accountability and Integrity. Reporting to Head of Accountability and Integrity, you'll provide proactive and broad support for the team across all policy pillars as well as being part of BEN+, our Risk Transformation Program where you will support the integrated risk uplift program that enables the implementation of long-term sustainable improvements.

In this role you’ll get to

  • Review and contribute to the review of organisational culture and values.
  • Manage and review conduct and consequence data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the registration of accountable persons and the development/amendment of Accountability Statements.
  • Support annual accountability and Fit & Proper assessment processes.
  • Advise Accountable Persons and senior management on accountability obligations and regulatory compliance.

  

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Finance, Risk Management or related discipline preferrable
  • Experience in Banking and Finance with demonstrated experience and knowledge of risk management, governance, regulatory change, legal or consulting
  • Demonstrated experience supporting change initiatives and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across multiple levels and functions
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and flexible disposition

 

We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of 60% of your week in the office. This role can be based in our Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Bendigo, or Brisbane office but open to other locations for the right candidate.
