About The Opportunity
Programmed is currently seeking Service Centre Operators to join our dynamic and friendly multi-channel operations contact centre based in Burswood.
In this position, you will be the first point of contact for customers reporting non-functional EV chargers and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of work orders, ensuring timely issue resolution, effective communication with internal teams and external contractors, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
This is a Full-Time, 12-month fixed term contract – with an opportunity to move into a permanent position. You will be a part of a roster with 8 hour rotating shifts from 6am – 11pm Monday to Friday, with possible weekends on call.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, alerts, and portal enquiries from EV charger users, providing basic troubleshooting or escalating as needed.
- Provide professional, empathetic customer service in line with Programmed’s standards.
- Create, assign, and track work orders in Maximo for internal technicians or external partners.
- Run third-party diagnostics and identify root causes of technical issues.
- Monitor job progress, follow up on open tasks, and ensure completion within SLAs.
- Update customer and work order records in real time to reflect current status.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, engineers, and third-party providers.
- Assist with creating reports, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain documentation in line with policy, confidentiality, and security standards.
- Identify hazards, support health and safety initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Experience with EV charger, equipment or tech related field maintenance, or utilities (desirable)
- Familiarity with work order systems, ticketing tools, or field service platforms. (Knowledge of Maximo or similar - highly desirable)
- Experience in a call centre or helpdesk environment (1–3 years)
- High level of customer service and interpersonal skills
- Able to stay calm and solution-focused in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
