About The Opportunity
Programmed Property Services has secured a new contract for the delivery of open space & ground maintenance services — and we’re growing our team!
This exciting opportunity offers a range of roles to suit different experience levels, from unqualified labourers looking to start a career in the industry, to experienced gardeners ready for a new challenge, and team leaders who are passionate about mentoring others and delivering high-quality service.
These are permanent, full-time positions offering long-term stability, career progression, and the chance to work in some of the State’s most diverse and scenic outdoor spaces.

Position Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
- Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
- Implement mulching and planting programs.
- Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment.
- Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit.
- Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard.
- Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
- Operate a range of commercial out-front and zero-turn mowers and other small plant equipment.
About You
We value people who take pride in their work, communicate well, and are committed to safety and quality. Depending on the role, ideal candidates may bring:
- A genuine interest in horticulture or landscape maintenance.
- Relevant experience (though not essential to all roles).
- A current driver's license and white card.
- A chemical certificate (desirable).
- A professional approach to the workplace.
- The ability to execute work to a high standard.
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.
