About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for multiple Audio-Visual Technicians to join our dynamic team, working on-site at Brisbane Airport. This role is critical to the smooth operation of the airport’s digital infrastructure, with a primary focus on the installation, maintenance, and support of Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) and large-format LED display panels throughout the terminals.
Nature of the position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Brisbane Airport, Brisbane
Reporting Line: Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission LED video walls, digital signage, and FIDS screens in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on display hardware and associated AV systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video distribution, display calibration, and networked AV components.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all installations meet industry and airport compliance standards.
About You
You will have experience installing and maintaining AV systems in a commercial environment, communicate well, and be committed to safety and quality. Additionally, you will possess:
- A current ACMA Cabling license.
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial AV systems.
- Familiarity with tools and test equipment used for AV diagnostics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Conduct work with a high level of professionalism in a public environment.
- Ability to obtain an ASIC clearance
- Strong safety focus and commitment to maintain a safe working environment
