About The Opportunity
We at Programmed Facility Management are seeking experienced Maintenance Carpenters to join our WA Housing Carnarvon Team. In this integral role you will be part of an essential team that provides general maintenance and carpentry to public and community dwellings.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete any general maintenance and installation of cabinets, doors, patching, flooring, or other fixtures used in buildings
- Occasionally frameworks, formworks, roofing, tiling (desirable or willing to be upskilled)
- Use of hand tools, machines, or power tools as required
- Flexible approach to wider general maintenance duties
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment
About You
To join our team, you will be a qualified Carpenter who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment, has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. You are a key person within the Team, promoting staff morale while displaying a “can do” and “team player” attitude. Additionally, you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.
Additionally, you will possess:
- Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- VALID C Class License (mandatory)
- Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery (mandatory)
- Locksmith experience (desirable)
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights (desirable)
- First Aid training and other Trade based competencies (desirable)
- Intermediate Technology Skills (for smart devices)
- Hand Tools for the Trade (preferred)
