About The Opportunity
Programmed is seeking a Team Leader to oversee operations at the Ampol Refinery in Lytton.
This full‑time, Monday to Friday position offers the chance to step into a leadership role within a supportive, close‑knit team committed to delivering high‑quality grounds and maintenance services.
As Team Leader, you will coordinate and guide a team of 5–6 employees plus contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong organisational capability, good communication skills, and hands-on leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and coordinate a team of 5–6 staff plus contractors across daily tasks.
- Communicate effectively with the client and internal team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and maintain reporting, documentation and site records.
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel to complete administrative and operational tasks.
- Oversee weed and pest management activities (ACDC Chemical Licence desirable).
- Ensure all tasks meet Programmed’s safety, environmental and quality standards.
About You
To join our team, ideally, you will have experience in gardening/landscaping with a passion for providing quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have:
- Previous grounds, maintenance or similar operational experience (qualifications desirable but not required).
- Experience leading small teams or contractors (or the capability and readiness to step up).
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team guidance.
- The ability to execute work to a high standard.
- A proactive, organised and safety‑focused approach to work.
- Technical ability across Microsoft Word and Excel.
- ACDC Chemical Licence (desirable)
- Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check.
