About the Opportunity

Programmed have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Service Delivery Manager to join our New Zealand operations. This role provides leadership and operational oversight for our facilities management services across the South Island, supporting a key client within the energy sector.

Based in our Christchurch office, you will work with a high level of autonomy, ensuring the consistent and timely delivery of all operational outcomes and service level agreements. Reporting to the National Manager, you will manage service delivery performance, oversee outsourced suppliers and drive improvements that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

You will be accountable for the effective management of all Service Delivery functions, ensuring activities are completed accurately, safely and on time to meet contractual SLAs. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting a positive, development‑focused team culture will also be central to your success in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance and operational oversight across the client portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with service levels, safety standards and maintenance requirements
  • Drive and implement service improvements that enhance efficiency and client outcomes
  • Build strong, professional relationships with internal stakeholders and our energy‑sector client
  • Proactively resolve operational issues and ensure timely communication and escalations
  • Manage subcontractors and third‑party providers to meet service expectations
  • Provide accurate performance reporting and insights to the National Manager
  • Champion a safe, positive and development‑focused culture
  • Manage customer expectations through frequent, accurate and timely communication
  • Act with integrity in all client interactions, ensuring commitments are met
  • Drive operational excellence to maximise customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional work

 

About You

To excel in this role, you will bring strong experience in facilities management, trades services or building services, ideally within maintenance or operational environments. You will also bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing service delivery, operations or FM environments
  • Strong leadership capability, with a focus on coaching and performance uplift
  • Solid understanding of SLAs, KPIs and contract expectations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, systems and workflows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem‑solving skills
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented “can‑do” mindset
