The role:
We are currently looking for someone who genuinely cares about people and wants to make a real difference in how safety, quality and wellbeing are approached at work.
Reporting to the ANZ HSE Manager (Industrial, Infrastructure, Training Services and PSK – White Collar), you will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all areas of our work. This hands-on role involves working closely with leaders, frontline teams and clients to strengthen safety practices. You will be encouraged to think creatively, explore new ideas, and grow your HSEQ expertise across a diverse range of industries.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide HSEQ Support to the Programmed business, including some travel to regional locations.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Business HSEQ procedures and processes.
- Conduct Workplace Risk Assessments at client sites.
- Undertaking incident investigations and prepare follow up reports as required.
- Assist with the coordination and management of workplace injuries, including return to work processes.
- Working collaborative with our clients and employee’s teams across various worksites and industries.
- Facilitate toolbox talks and other safety engagement activities
- Provide HSEQ leadership and support to our employees in the field
- Participate in Health and Safety Meetings as required
- Collate and report on HSEQ data and insights as required
- Contribute to the business strategies through active involvement in HSEQ related projects
About You:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Prior experience working in a Health, Safety Environment or Quality role form any/variety of industries.
- Formal qualifications in Health and Safety
- Knowledge and understanding of current OHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, and standards.
- Excellent communication, time management and analytical skills.
- The ability to engage and influence stakeholders to effect change and produce results.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications and programs easily
- A current valid Driver’s Licence
- Cert IV – Diploma in Health and Safety (desirable)
- Exposure to incident investigation ICAM methodology (desirable but not essential)
