About The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join Programmed as an Audio Visual Support Technician, working without our Electrical Technologies team.  Based in Melbourne’s CBD, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and support of audio-visual systems while managing service requests and incidents through various engagement channels.

This role will oversee the entire lifecycle of cases from identification to resolution. The position is crucial for maintaining high-quality AV communication across the organization and delivering services in line with customer contracts.

This includes monitoring system performance, providing technical support, ensuring data integrity, and driving customer satisfaction through effective communication and operational excellence.

 

Nature of the position: 12-month Contract

Reporting Line: National Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming service requests, incidents, and tasks through client engagement channels.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of faults & service requests, ensuring timely updates and resolution communication with clients.
  • Proactively monitor performance and health of audio-visual systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV systems and services, collaborating with technical teams as needed.
  • Ensure all client interactions are handled with integrity, maintaining a focus on delivering excellent customer outcomes.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for National Service Centre and state teams nationally.
  • Support day-to-day operations of the National Service Centre, ensuring activities align with customer contracts and Programmed standards.

 

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a service desk or technical support role, managing service requests and incidents.
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting audio-visual systems in a network operations or similar environment would be ideal
  • Ability to analyze system performance data and generate accurate, insightful reports for management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users
  • Experience using MS Office & MS Teams
