About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Facility Management department is currently seeking a Maintenance Handyperson to join our team at Melbourne Airport. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that provides preventative and general maintenance across the Melbourne Airport site. In this role, you will be responsible for the completion of preventative & general maintenance through find and fix inspections.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Melbourne Airport
Reporting line: Trade Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct any trade work and preventative maintenance around the facility
- Assist with any minor repairs such as door repairs, basic tiling, patching and painting walls, footpath and potholes repairs
- Use of hand tools, machines, or power saws as required
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe environment
About You
To join our team, ideally you will have previous experience within the maintenance industries with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have.
- Current driver’s license
- Work in high security areas around Melbourne Airport facilities
- Demonstrate a professional approach
- Execute work that is of a high standard
