The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as a Scheduler. You will be responsible for the successful scheduling and delivery of works, ensuring the service specific deliverables are delivered in a safe, successful and profitable manner in accordance with the client's expectations and agreed contractual obligations. 

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist in outlining best practice on equipment and asset management with a review of the client's requirements and equipment life cycle planning. You will be critical in assisting the business in effective and efficient service delivery. You will be based in the vicinity of Christmas Hills area.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and manage plans relating to scheduled maintenance in line with required contract requirement, timeframe and budget.
  • Developing quotes for works relating to additional maintenance and defect rectification.
  • Ensure timely provision of services meeting safety, timeframes, budgets and quality as agreed in contract.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with vendors and potential suppliers and ensures regular reviews are conducted.
  • Effectively communicate with customer to support the service delivery team in maximising customer satisfaction

 

Skills and experience

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Be proficient with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo)-(Advantage)
  • Have proven cost analysis and organisational capabilities
  • Have mechanical and/or electrical technical skills (Desirable but not essential)
  • Have proven skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Have highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Be extremely customer focused and able to build strong customer relationships with the client
