About The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Project Manager to join Programmed, working on our high-profile Sydney Water Contract.

Reporting into the Facilities Manager, the Project Manager will help lead the delivery of Minor Works across Western Sydney servicing a wide range of critical water and wastewater sites. These projects will vary in cost and discipline across a wide range of activities across these sites.

This is an excellent opportunity where you and your team will have an active role in the planning of new projects, providing technical input and the development of methodologies and programs of work. In additional you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of concurrent projects in line with safety, quality, schedule, budget, and scope objectives.

Nature of the position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Western Sydney

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contract management, planning and financial management including preparation of variations, and extensions of time.
  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety, quality assurance & environmental management system.
  • Manage internal and subcontractor resources
  • Coordinate deliverables to achieve project time and budget objectives and report effectively
  • Manage numerous projects within the program of works concurrently

 

 

About You

  • Prior experience in Facilities Maintenance Projects in an industrial or water facility would be highly desired
  • Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, and contracts management functions
  • A strong understanding of regulations and compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Strong safety focus and commitment to maintain a safe working environment
  • Full Driver’s License
